David Parker meets with Niti Ayog CEO Amitabh Kant in New Delhi


With eyes on boosting economic cooperation and bilateral trade between the two countries, the visiting Minister for Trade David Parker is currently meeting with Niti Ayog CEO Amitabh Kant in New Delhi.

Minister Parker is accompanied with the Acting NZ High Commissioner to India, Graeme Action, along with a high-level business delegation from New Zealand.

Niti Ayog (National Institution for Transforming India) is the Indian government’s premium economic policy-making body that uses a bottom-up approach to transform India.

High-Level Business delegation travels to India

The high-level business delegation travelling along with the two Ministers includes the likes of Bhav Dhillon – a successful business leader and a well-known champion of NZ-India relations, Sameer Handa – the Chairman of India New Zealand Business Council, Peter McBride – former Chairman and a Director of Zespri Group and current Director Fonterra, Jo Pennycuick – the founder-director of Redesign Group.
